Hello, it is possible to use the SSRS SDK for PHP on SQL SERVER 2005?

Hi Keep

I'm curious to find out (wish one of the developers can shed some light), but I believe it should work.

All the documentation and examples refer to 2008, but if you look at the code (e.g. in SSRSReport.php lines 148 and 154) the SDK refers specifically to two web services namely ReportExecution2005.asmx and ReportService2005.asmx, which as the names suggest were available in SQL Server 2005 already. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe these are unchanged from 2005 to 2008 (you can look at the definitions yourself in SQL server books online). Here they are:

At a glance, they look identical, and I don't see any of the source code in the SDK referring to anything else, so my guess is it should work on 2005. But to know for sure, someone who knows of a 2005 limitation that would prevent this from working needs to add a comment here or someone needs to test it... If I have some spare time and willpower over the weekend, perhaps that could be me.

There are no dependencies on SQL Server 2008, the PHP SDK is based on the web service APIs provided by SQL Server Reporting Services 2005.

Thanks
